Tonight Media was commissioned by Ramayana Water Park to introduce live DJs as an additional entertainment element within the park. The brief focused on adding a music component that could enhance certain areas of the venue while remaining compatible with the park’s existing structure and daily operations.

Our role involved working closely with the Ramayana team to determine suitable locations, time windows, and music styles for live DJ sets. Attention was given to crowd movement, noise levels, operational schedules, and the overall pace of the park to ensure the DJs complemented the environment rather than disrupted it.

The activation provided Ramayana Water Park with a structured framework for incorporating live music into the venue. It demonstrated how DJs could be used selectively to add variety to the park’s offering, while maintaining full control over logistics, operations, and guest flow.

Scope of Work

Tonight Media applied its existing network of DJs and industry contacts to support Ramayana Water Park’s live music initiative. The focus was on identifying DJs whose music style and on-site experience were suitable for a daytime, public venue rather than a club or nightlife setting.

The scope covered DJ selection, performance scheduling, and coordination with Ramayana’s operations team. This included aligning set times with park activity, confirming technical requirements in advance, and ensuring performances stayed within agreed sound levels and operating hours.

All activities were planned to fit within Ramayana Water Park’s existing workflows. DJ appearances were scheduled without requiring changes to staffing, ride operations, or guest circulation, allowing the park to add live music while maintaining normal day-to-day operations.

Artist Selection and Event Fit

Tonight Media works with a broad network of DJs across Thailand and selects artists based on practical fit rather than popularity alone. For Ramayana Water Park, considerations included the venue location, visitor profile, operating hours, and the park’s overall brand positioning.

Artist recommendations were made to ensure the music supported the setting and audience expectations, allowing live DJs to be introduced in a way that felt appropriate to the venue and its guests.

Artist Suitability

Artist selection was based on practical criteria rather than name recognition. Each DJ was assessed on music style, on-site presentation, and ability to perform in a daytime, non-club environment.

Selections were made to match specific areas and time periods within the park. This ensured that the music aligned with guest activity at that moment, without interfering with ride operations, staff communication, or general movement around the venue.

Outcome

Live DJs were introduced at Ramayana Water Park over a three-month period. The programming ran as planned and remained compatible with the park’s daily operations throughout that time.

The DJ selections and scheduling allowed live music to be present without requiring operational changes, demonstrating that music-led activations could be sustained over multiple months within the venue.

Results

The activation concluded earlier than planned due to COVID-19 restrictions and public health measures introduced during that period. As a result, live DJ programming was paused in line with broader operational limitations affecting the venue.
