Ramayana Water Park brought in Tonight Media to add live DJs to the park. The idea was to bring music into certain areas without clashing with how the venue already runs day to day.
We worked with the Ramayana team to choose the right spots, time slots and music styles. Crowd movement, noise levels, operating schedules and the park’s pace all shaped the plan, so the DJs added to the atmosphere instead of fighting it.
The result gave Ramayana a clear framework for live music: a way to add variety in the right places while keeping full control of logistics, operations and guest flow.
Scope of Work
We tapped our existing DJ network and industry contacts to find artists who fit a daytime, public venue rather than a club. On-site experience mattered as much as the music.
The work covered DJ selection, scheduling and coordination with Ramayana’s operations team. We matched set times to park activity, confirmed technical needs ahead of time, and kept every set within agreed sound levels and operating hours.
All of it slotted into the park’s existing workflows. DJs went on without any change to staffing, ride operations or guest movement, so the park kept running as normal.
Artist Selection and Event Fit
We work with a broad DJ network across Thailand and pick artists on practical fit, not just name value. For Ramayana, that meant weighing the location, the visitors, the operating hours and the park’s brand.
Every recommendation aimed to match the music to the setting and what guests expected, so live DJs felt right for the venue.
Artist Suitability
We judged each DJ on music style, on-site presence and their ability to play a daytime, non-club crowd, not their follower count.
Then we matched them to specific areas and time slots, so the music fit what guests were doing at that moment and never got in the way of ride operations, staff communication or movement around the park.
Outcome
Live DJs ran at Ramayana Water Park over three months. The programming went as planned and stayed compatible with daily operations the whole time.
Music ran without forcing any operational changes, proving a music-led activation could hold up across multiple months inside the venue.
Results
The activation ended earlier than planned when COVID-19 restrictions and public health measures came in. We paused the live DJ programming in line with the wider limits hitting the venue.
