Barbarbar was a well-established Bangkok nightlife venue, and we ran a long-term partnership covering both marketing and event collaborations. The club built a name as a home for international electronic acts, hosting artists like Maurice West and Garmiani.

Our work spanned ongoing promotion and hands-on event execution. We worked closely with the club on its programming, audience reach, and visibility in Bangkok’s nightlife scene, with a shared focus on high-profile events and steady engagement with the local electronic music community.

Scope of Work

Our work with Barbarbar centred on event-driven marketing. We promoted individual nights across our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok channels to lift visibility and drive attendance.

Alongside digital promotion, we collaborated with Barbarbar on multiple events from 2018 onward. That meant supporting event execution and coordinating promotion across our platforms, keeping communication consistent and engagement with Bangkok’s nightlife community steady over time.

Audience Insight and Content Alignment

As one of Thailand’s leading electronic music media pages, our audience lined up closely with the club’s target crowd. We worked with Barbarbar to read audience response and pin down which content formats and messaging landed best across different nights.

Those insights shaped what we published across our channels, keeping promotion relevant and engaging while holding consistent visibility for the club’s events.

Paid Media and Advertising

Barbarbar consistently put budget behind paid advertising, with posts boosted through our channels to extend reach for key nights. Spend and targeting were adjusted to the scale and goals of each event.

Depending on the campaign, we either ran the targeting and ad setup ourselves or gave the club access to our ad accounts, so they could control budget while using our established platforms. That flexibility kept paid activity tied to event goals and efficient across campaigns.

Campaign Results

Organic promotion plus paid support kept Barbarbar’s nights consistently visible across social. Targeted boosting pushed reach past existing followers while staying relevant to the club’s core crowd.

The approach held attendance across multiple events and reinforced Barbarbar’s place in Bangkok’s nightlife scene through the partnership, while leaving room to structure and fund each campaign differently.

Results

On the event side, we worked with Barbarbar across a range of formats, using each one to test what fit the club’s identity, its location, and local taste. Rather than one fixed formula, we tried different concepts and musical directions to read audience response and attendance.

What we learned shaped artist selection, event themes, and promotional focus. That back-and-forth helped both teams understand what worked for Thai clubgoers in that spot, leading to sharper event planning and clearer positioning for future nights.
