Barbarbar was a well-established nightlife venue in Bangkok, with which we maintained a long-term partnership encompassing both marketing initiatives and event collaborations. Throughout this period, the club positioned itself as a destination for international electronic music acts, hosting artists such as Maurice West and Garmiani, among others.

Our collaboration involved ongoing promotional support as well as hands-on involvement in event execution, working closely with the club to support its programming, audience reach, and brand visibility within Bangkok’s nightlife scene. This sustained partnership reflected a shared focus on delivering high-profile events and maintaining consistent engagement with the local electronic music community.

Scope of Work

Our work with Barbarbar focused primarily on event-driven marketing and audience promotion. We promoted individual event nights through our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, with the aim of increasing visibility and driving attendance for the club.

Alongside digital promotion, we collaborated with Barbarbar on multiple events beginning in 2018. This involved supporting event execution and coordinating promotion across our platforms, allowing for consistent communication with audiences and sustained engagement with Bangkok’s nightlife community over time.

Audience Insight and Content Alignment

With our platform established as one of the leading electronic music media pages in Thailand, our audience reach consistently aligned with the club’s target demographic. We worked closely with Barbarbar to assess audience response and identify which content formats and messaging performed most effectively across different event nights.

Based on these insights, content was refined and published across our social media channels to maximise relevance and engagement. This collaborative approach ensured that promotional materials remained aligned with audience behaviour while supporting consistent visibility for the club’s events.

Paid Media and Advertising

Barbarbar consistently allocated budget for paid advertising, with promotional posts boosted through our social media channels to extend reach and visibility for key event nights. Media spend and targeting approach were adjusted based on the scale and objectives of each event.

Depending on campaign requirements, we either managed audience targeting and ad setup directly or granted the club access to our advertising accounts, allowing them to control budget allocation while leveraging our established platforms. This flexible approach ensured paid activity remained aligned with event goals while maintaining efficiency across campaigns.

Campaign Results

The combination of organic promotion and paid media support contributed to consistent visibility for Barbarbar’s event nights across social platforms. Targeted boosting helped extend reach beyond existing followers while maintaining relevance within the club’s core audience.

This approach supported sustained attendance across multiple events and reinforced Barbarbar’s presence within Bangkok’s nightlife scene during the period of collaboration, while allowing flexibility in how individual campaigns were structured and funded.
